Barking Barbers is headed by Angel Dominic Moore, a qualified Dog Groomer and Reiki Animal Healer. Angel is highly qualified in his field and to his amusement has been likened with the nick name, Cesar Millan (The Dog Whisperer). Angel has an uncanny ability with dogs and his calming influence is appreciated by all dogs and owners that meet him.

Angel was born in Galway, Rep of Ireland and came to Manchester in 2002 after travelling the world. Before he left Ireland he became interested in Buddhism and is now a practicing Buddhist. His core values for caring for animals and ethical approach to business is derived from his Buddhism.

Angel holds Distinction City & Guilds in advanced Dog Grooming along with Second Degree in Reiki Healing. Over the years Angel’s passion in caring for animals has been a driving force in his life and when he changed his career path to Dog Grooming the scene was set for Barking Barbers. Angel’s own dog “Duke”, is a rescue from Manchester Dogs Home - a charity close to his heart and Barking Barbers works closely with the home and offers it’s time free of charge. We actively collect and raise money for the home. Our mission is simple.
