When an animal or person receives a Reiki treatment, the Reiki energy flows into the client’s energy field, affecting the ki, (energy behind everything) and also flows around the organs and tissues. It enhances the genki (good ki) that may be present, making it stronger. It also seeks out byoki, (bad ki) flowing directly to it throughout it, and round it disembowels byoki, and prevents it from causing further harm. By removing byoki, the natural flow of genki is restored along with the animal or persons health. Reiki provides a much higher level of nurturing to the body’s organs and tissues and also works on the mind, emotions, and spirit, helping us feel even better than before. This is why Reiki feels so good.

I enjoy working with animals and have seen great improvement in health issues. A session with your animal is best done in your home where they are comfortable. Most sessions take 30 minutes, longer sessions may be required to spend time getting close to the animal.

Animals can benefit from a Reiki treatment if they are sick, seem lethargic or depressed, recently came from a shelter or from boarding kennels, are exhibiting undesirable behaviours, or have experienced trauma in their lives. It is important to contact your vet in addition to seeking Reiki treatments, as Reiki is a complimentary healing method
