Welcome to Barking Barbers Ethical & Holistic Dog Grooming.   Barking Barbers is headed by Angel Dominic Moore SHC Dip., a highly qualified dog groomer and Reiki animal therapist. He holds Distinction in City & Guilds advanced Dog Grooming, along with Second Degree in Reiki Therapy, and City and Guilds First Aid for Dogs.  He is currently studying Aromatherapy and preparing to become a Reiki Master.   Angel’s innovative approach to dog grooming, care and knowledge is applauded by his clients,. His uncanny ability, and calming influence with all dogs is recognised by all who meet him. So much so that some of his clients travel over one hundred miles for a grooming session. His knowledge on all aspects of holistic dog grooming and care means that his contemporaries within the industry often turn to him for advice; as such, he is called upon by BBC radio Manchester as an authority on holistic grooming.   Angel was born in Galway, Republic of Ireland and came to Manchester after a period  of extensive world travel. Over the years, Angel’s passion in caring for animals has been a driving force in his life, and when he changed his career path to Dog Grooming the scene was set for Barking Barbers. Angel is a practicing Buddhist and his core values of caring for animals, and ethical approach to business derives from this. Angel’s own dog, Duke, is a rescue from Manchester Dogs Home, a charity close to his heart. Consequently, Barking Barbers works closely with the home and offers it’s time free of charge!
