Orders
When receiving your order, if you are not happy for any reason. Please return your order in it’s original condition and we will refund you the full value of the order. Please ensure that the item is returned to us in it’s original condition unless faulty within 7 days of the date delivered to you.
Please be aware that once delivery process begins, you can not cancel the order and you will be responsible for the cost of returns and postage & packaging to us unless your order arrives damaged, faulty or contains incorrect items.
Delivery
We offer a delivery service throughout the UK at £2.95. If you are outside of the UK the delivery cost will be emailed to you.
Dog Grooming
Barking Barbers is a unique salon experience. We give your dog a pleasing environment where they are not caged, not put into cabinet dryers and they have their own personal handler. Each dog has their own individual appointment so that they are not waiting and becoming stressed. Our clients appreciate the service we offer and it shows we offer a good service as we are always booked up in advance. Therefore if you cancel an appointment well in advance we are always able to resell the appointment. Each customer pays a deposit and is given an appointment slip with the time and date of their appointment on it.
Cancellations
Appointments can be cancelled at any time before the date of the appointment. If an appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointment, it is highly unlikely that we will be able to resell the appointment, therefore, the full grooming payment will be charged as we still have to pay the staff and the appointment could have been resold if we were given plenty of notice.
Courtesy Call
We will give you a courtesy call 2 days before your appointment, however, a courtesy call is just us being courteous, and it is not a requirement. If for some reason it is not given, it is still up to you to turn up for your appointment on the time and date given. A courtesy call is not a time for you to decide whether you want the appointment or not. If you decide to cancel on the courtesy call, you will incur a five to ten pound charge for the time spent by us providing man hours having to try and resell the appointment and for the cost of phone calls.
Punctuality for Appointments
If you turn up late for your appointment there is a strong possibility that we may not have the time to groom your dog and the full cancellation charge will apply. As you may be aware, if we take in a dog that is late it can have a knock on effect for the rest of the customers that day. Also, if you are late the dog might be able to be groomed but would not be provided with a bath at the same cost.
Grooming Policy
Dogs that come in that are badly groomed i.e. knotty, matted or even extremely overweight, will be charged accordingly. Knotted dogs will require more man power in taking the knots out. Matted dogs will have to be shaved down. Overweight dogs may require an extra handler.
Rude Behaviour
The staff at Barking Barbers are here to give your dog the best grooming experience possible and to yourself, we aim to give great customer service and offer advice to the best of our knowledge. Rude or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.
